Russian Rings

One popular interpretation of the Russian ring design is the representation of family. Each ring is said to represent a member of the family, with the interlocking design symbolising the close bond between them. This close bond has more recently been expressed in this way with small groups of friends. They are worn as a celebration of love and friendship between the friends, men or women,  where each individual ring can signify each person inseparably interlocking one another.
