Good to know
When selling gold or silver jewellery which is over a certain weight, it is a legal requirement to have the item hallmarked. All sterling silver jewellery that weighs over 7.78g and gold jewellery that weighs over 1g should be sold with a hallmark. I'm very proud to have my own maker's mark. All my pieces that weigh over the legal requirement are hallmarked by the London Assay Office. You'll find my makers mark 'LEB' followed by the Traditional fineness mark. Millesimal fineness mark, the Assay Office mark and a letter, which represents the year.
This piece has a handmade silver tag attached to the clasp displaying the hallmark.
Our jewellery has been lovingly made by hand in our home studio on the South Coast.
We are proud to be using 100% recycled sterling silver and 9ct gold where possible.
